[16:38:18] <skunkworks> so our spindle has like 16 gears. I think it would be cool to have emc2 automatically pick the gear that works for the s speed selected. Seems doable. The way it was programed before is you just gave it a s word according to which gear you wanted. Now that there is a vfd on the spindle - we should be able to pick spindle speed by rpm.
